Ember's Adrift has many seemly useless items that drop with text lore. The game designers like to sprinkle these items around the world. Lets get them sorted so we can read the lore better.

One other thing to look out for are "A number of static lore items throughout the game which can be interacted with to learn a bit more. These new items can be found in Newhaven Valley, Northreach, Central Veins, Meadowlands, and Redshore Forest.". If you see these screencap them and make a page with the image.
